It’s only possible to dive in during the low tide to such depths of the ocean! The First occurrence of this ancient city happened in 1960’s in an archaeological survey. However, the main discoveries were made only after 1979 exploration. The City Of Dwaraka is always a delight for new generation Archaeologists who are endeavouring to delve deep into the prior civilization on 10,000 years ago.
The Main stream education kept on propagating that Mahabharata was just an epic written by an author. However, the discovery o the City underneath the ocean, shut all of them up and gave new hope that Lord Krishna is actually a real being who lived on this land and being a human, realised the god potential within and ascended to higher realms, and he did conveyed the very same message to Arjuna during the great battle, Krishna Insisted the Pandava Prince to be a yogi and see the god within each living being.
So, with the advent of Dwaraka’s remnants, whether people realise it or not, this is a huge reaffirmation to the very ancient knowledge that this whole nation relied upon. There were series of explorations made from 1983 and again another crucial dive in occurred in 2001 and 2007 where the oceanographers and archaeologists took this as a global challenge and captured startling photographs of the Submerged City of Dwaraka, which is now a UNESCO world heritage site and the researchers are still on the search to find further more!
